Mal: You tell me right now, little Kaylee, you really think you can do this? Kaylee: Sure. Yeah. I think so. 'Sides, if I mess up, not like you'll be able to yell at me.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Aw, you're so passionate about delivery! Love it.

What's funny is that when I'm sick, I'm more likely to be crying in the drug store than actually get anything delivered, but I wish I would.

Ann, that's a ferret.

More fun at the Guardian: Simon's Cat for Christmas.

Don't forget to click over to the Lunch Break video as well!

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

Heh, Erin. That was the one we had before this one - the handle on the left is connected to the interior workings with a little plastic rod, which broke on ours just after we'd had it a little too long for a return or a warranty. Until that little plastic bitty broke, we loved that machine.

My whining on facebook about it worked, I think we are gonna have some delivery by friends. Which is awesome in the current, yeah, I need some apple juice way, but also, makes me feel warm and safe and taken care of.

So nice!

I heard a thing on the radio that one of the few things show to reduce the duration of a cold is sympathy. (I realize you don't have colds.) So it's not even the chicken soup, it's being made chicken soup by someone who loves you. Aw.

I'm so glad we're not googleable -- I was just reading a report that one of our websites got linked off a San Antonio Spurs fansite.

The status is NOT quo.

Sparky, I didn't get the email but we are around if you want to meet for coffee or some such.

Just took a shower, which was exhausting but felt awesome. Tom's in there now.

Thank you, my friends in the box, for listening.

I'm just bummed that we can't hang with our friends here from Austin. We had an awesome day planned out, including: lunch at August, a trip to the Southern Food & Beverage Museum, sushi for dinner, and then an awesome pub quiz at our local fave beer bar!

Doesn't that sound like so much fun?

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

I am feeling better! It must be the sympathy! I went on my first Big Outing today. I made it to all of Arby's and the bank. I was also going to hit a hotspot and the hobby shop, but Arby's and the bank were my limit.

I wasn't actually quite well enough yet, but with the big potential snowfall coming in for the next two days, I figured if I was going to get snowed in there was no way I wasn't going to get cabin fever after having been in sick for a week. We'll see.

Anyway, it was nice to get out, and it's sunny today, and my favorite wood vendor still has wood available and is coming over this afternoon, so we should be all set for the storm tomorrow.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

You know what's the worst part of this job? The back aches - we have terrible chairs & desks.
