Bleh, Nora! Will the grocery store deliver?
Well, half assed googling got me this, [link] which makes me suspicious due to crappy web design. I don't have the wherewithal to parse it though.
I'm just about ready to kill the passive-aggressive coworker who has been answering his email with nothing but "It's lower down in the email" and "I'd not care to comment" today.
That is truly fucking lame. What the fuck is wrong with him?
JZ - I have this DeLonghi espresso machine and I haven't had any issues with it. We got it over a year ago and I use it almost daily. And it's MUCH cheaper now than it was a year ago, too.
Our Delonghi is the one that just died.
Hey, the RSC has done a musical version of Matilda.

Calling your local market might be worth doing. I don't know! It just seems like grocery delivery is both an old school AND a new school thing to do.
Nicole, hmmm. Our just-crapped-out one is also a DeLonghi, but a steam driven machine with a lot more plastic in it than yours. It may be time to give up and go for a pump machine (or one of the little really-truly Italian stovetop ones).

Aw, you're so passionate about delivery! Love it.
More fun at the Guardian: Simon's Cat for Christmas.
JZ, my mom and dad got us this one from Target. It's pretty cheap, easy to use and clean and I've used it every day since April 9th without a hiccup. It's $40.

Now that I'm finally allowed to try "real food," I figured I'd try the pulled pork from the cafeteria for lunch, since that's what my friend is having for dinner on NYE; it'd be good to find out beforehand if I can eat it and keep it down. So far, so good! It's definitely filling, and my stomach is a bit overstuffed, but otherwise, no problems. Good thing was that I definitely took the full 30 minutes to eat lunch, just like the dietician told me I'd probably be doing once I progressed past the easy-to-swallow stuff. Also, I've got enough leftovers for dinner tonight and probably lunch tomorrow, and I also picked up a banana because of a bad charlie horse I had last night.
