Fun! I at least went out to the 7-11, and it's really pretty outside. I hope we have a snow day tomorrow! But kind of figure we won't. I don't know how much it needs to be for a snow day here.

Olivia and I went to the skating rink today to enjoy some girl skating time. I think her derby name should be The Olivinator. She's so tiny but utterly fearless.
With fear in my heart, I hit Costco today and there was lots of parking and shorter than normal lines. Tomorrow, Kelly gets to face the Old Navy return line. Glad it isn't me.
Belated happy birthdays!
We've had quite the Christmas. Big ups, big downs. I'm holding onto the good and trying to support others through the bad.
Just saw a post from theo on FB about getting a blizzard for her birthday....
that sounds unfun Suzi

To counter the total suckatude of eHarmony (I probably wouldn't be upset if I had found someone who wanted to communicate with me, but no luck so far), Kelly brought a friend over for a while.
He was her middle school boy friend. They were friends in high school, but she hasn't seen him much since graduation. He is visiting family here and the kids spent the afternoon catching up with each other. Apparently he has since come out of the closet per other mutual friends, but I don't know if he has shared that directly with Kelly yet. It was great to see him as a young man.
So, who has the cable company mojo? I want to pay less -- my introductory offer expired -- but don't actually want to get rid of anything! What can I tell them?

My grocery store wasn't crowded, but once I got about halfway through my list, I realized it was because they were basically out of everything. Combination of Christmas + Sunday + panicky blizzard shoppers = empty shelves. I was able to get everything I needed for dinner tomorrow, but just barely!
Has anyone ever ordered from TVMania and then had to return? My brothers had a mutual moment of geekasm and ordered Two Guys and a Girl for themselves and each other and need to return the spare copies.
