Now tagless for your comfort.

Connie, it's only when you use the phone. But minutes expire. Usually the more minutes you buy, the longer you have to use them. If you buy, say 20minutes, you may have to use them within 30-60 days.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

Just started snowing in NJ. Not much snow yet, but the sky is pure white as far as I can see in any direction.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

I like Virgin Mobile. I used to have their pay-as-you-go plan, but I switched to a flat rate when I got the Blackberry. I pay a flat $35/month for unlimited text/Web and 300 minutes of talk time, which is more than enough for me. They run off the Sprint network.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Thanks, everyone!

Ooh, that Virgin Mobile sounds like a good deal -- I should really figure out how to pay less for my cell phone. I don't use it much, but sometimes have mad flurries of texting. But I don't want to lose my number, and also inertia.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

Well, drat. My flight was cancelled and the next flight I can get a seat on is Tuesday. I've called amyth, and I'm very lucky to have such great cat carers around. I'm also lucky that I get on well with my sister's family, as they're getting another day and a half with me. Sis has already made magarita plans for the afternoon.

Happy Birthday, Jesse, Theo and Rayne!

I've been playing with my iTouch nonstop since yesterday. It's totally fun.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Happy birthday, Jesse!

Happy birthday, Theo!

Happy birthday, Rayne!

No snow whatsoever in SF. But no rain either, unlike yesterday's downpour.

I was sent home last night with a large chunk of prime rib, so I'm thinking steak and eggs this morning.

We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

It's sunny and pretty warm here today. I blew off the Sunday morning run and my sister hasn't called me, which I think means she's okay with that. Maybe a long dog-walk later.

I'm just exhausted, still. And I found two ticks on the dog from yesterday, argh.

Stay warm and dry, all you Buffistas in the path of the snowpocalypse!

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

We have a good 2" of snow here in Nashville and it's still snowing. The roads are snow on top of ice. Fortunately, we don't need to go anywhere. Eventually, though, this may lead to mayhem and possibly cannibalism.
