Yes, it's terribly simple. The good guys are always stalwart and true, the bad guys are easily distinguished by their pointy horns or black hats, and, uh, we always defeat them and save the day. No one ever dies, and everybody lives happily ever after.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Glad I decided to drive home last night instead of waiting until this morning. The snow isn't real bad, but now I don't have to drive in it! Holidays were good. Presents, dinner, family, only a teeny bit of drama, now I'm glad to be home with nothing in particular that I have to do. Except wash the dishes I left in the sink three days ago. Yikes.

Happy birthday, Jesse, Theo, and Rayne!

In a topsy turvy world, we're supposed to be getting mainly rain in this round of Nor'Easter. We're had a rainstorm every Monday for the month of December.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

We have five inches, and it's still snowing, and we've lost power. I only live 45 minutes away, but I don't think I'm making it home today, and I doubt we're working tomorrow.

And none of us deserving the cruelty or the grace -- Leonard Cohen

You lost power? Jeeeeeez.

ETA: Oh wait. You texted me to that effect! So did my middle brother. At 2 a.m., to wish me a Merry Xmas. Weeeeak.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

No snow here in NJ yet, but we're supposed to get some in a few hours.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Thanks, you guys!

Happy birthday, Theo and Rayne!

It is already snowing here, but isn't supposed to be bad until the afternoon, I think. Which means my birthday dinner is cancelled, but my mom just popped by with some stuff I had forgotten, AND a birthday card and balloon! Nice.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

No snow yet in Brooklyn either. Forecast said flurries at 9, those lying liars.

Because books.

Happy birthday to Jesse, Theo, and Rayne! Cake for all!

It's so odd -- it's snowing north of us and south of us, but it hasn't started here yet. We're right on the dividing line between 6-10" and 10-14", but I guess we'll see what happens.

information libertarian

We're approaching 2 inches in GA, and while it's snowing lightly, it's steady.

Also, how is it only 10:15? Oh, that's right, I've been up since 6.
