I think you need a The Nicest list. For msbelle, of course.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

but this cheered me right up, from my besties: [link]

Bwah! "While we feel superior to you, we do not hate you or feel like you will go to hell."

Duly amended list per flea's suggestion.

And none of us deserving the cruelty or the grace -- Leonard Cohen

They crack me up. Right when I needed cracking up.

Yay.

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

We've had really good luck with our ups/fedexers, who delivered all before Christmas (unexpectedly) and before noon. It's a holiday miracle! Also, cold medicine was 2-for-1 at Rite Aid -- it's like baby jesus is lookin' out, just for me!

And the cats are well-behaved, I'm making duck tomorrow, and I STILL DON'T HAVE TO GO TO THE INLAWS! Merry Christmas everyone!

Because books.

My kitchen smells like molasses and spice and sugar, and I'm going to go play with babies in the nursery for the 5 p.m. church service. I still have everything to wrap, but we always marathon that while watching TV after the kids are in bed, with alcohol, so that's something to look forward to.

Merry, everyone!

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

UPS guy came and *didn't* throw my package on the balcony, so I have more stuff to pack to take back for my sister.

She's definitely going to have to lend me clothes if I run out. I'm not packing a second checkin. It's only a week.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

I have less than an hour before we have to leave for the Christmas production at church. I had hoped for magical free time today, nsm.

It is 39 and rainy, possibly the coldest day thus far this winter. I have no idea what to wear.

We also have people coming over afterwards and I am not at all prepared. oh well, they will get to help me cook and they probably don't care if things are clean or not.
