Because books.

My kitchen smells like molasses and spice and sugar, and I'm going to go play with babies in the nursery for the 5 p.m. church service. I still have everything to wrap, but we always marathon that while watching TV after the kids are in bed, with alcohol, so that's something to look forward to.

Merry, everyone!

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

UPS guy came and *didn't* throw my package on the balcony, so I have more stuff to pack to take back for my sister.

She's definitely going to have to lend me clothes if I run out. I'm not packing a second checkin. It's only a week.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

I have less than an hour before we have to leave for the Christmas production at church. I had hoped for magical free time today, nsm.

It is 39 and rainy, possibly the coldest day thus far this winter. I have no idea what to wear.

We also have people coming over afterwards and I am not at all prepared. oh well, they will get to help me cook and they probably don't care if things are clean or not.

"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

Did any of you hear The World's story on the Caganer AKA the pooper?

It was not as distressing as the part where kids beat a log, hoping it'll poop out treats. WTF?
