I think I'm going to end up leaving at 2:00, stop by the grocery store on my way to the dietician's office, and then just go directly home after the appointment is over.
The next two hours are going to draaaaaaaag.
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, nail polish, duct tape, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.

I have just realised today that I have no superhero panties. I totally need those. I will have to go shopping when I get back from vacation.
msbelle, not to imply I've been thinking about your underwear, but are your 80 pairs all different? Or do you repeat a lot?
For Teppy (among others): [link]
I DIDN'T EVEN KNOW THEY MADE BATMAN TRAINS!
Toot-Toot!
Now I need superhero panties, too!
You mean Dew-a-lee Sigh Cow Tao?
Yes I do!
I'm basically done with my task for the day, and the building is emptying out. I think I'll leave at 4:30, but I can't go any sooner than that.
Advice on making slow-cooker chili needed!
I think I'm going to cook up a pound of ground turkey, then use the large can of crushed tomatoes, a can of tomato paste, a can of kidney beans, a packet of McCormick chili seasoning, chop up half an onion, chop up a bell pepper or two, and then cook it on high in the slow cooker for 4-5 hours tomorrow. Will that be enough, or should I add another can of crushed or diced tomatoes? Should I add a bit of water to make it a bit thinner?
I'm not a good cook, and just throwing together a dish like this is freaking me out without a recipe to follow.
TOOT TOOTS AHOY!
They DO make Batman trains! OMG Teppy r u ok?
Man, I really wish I could have a drink right now. But I can't because soon I will have to drive. There will be packing up of the last of niece's stuff to move it back into her mom's attic, as she prepares for the adventure of her new job. I am selfishly hoping that they won't need my help or my hatchback, because I'm tired, my foot hurts, and I still haven't wrapped presents. Or sent out holiday cards, for that matter. Can I get about six spare hours today?
Kathy, I like my chili to be tomato-ey, so I would add the extra can, but I think it is a matter of taste. Why not just cook what you have, and then at the four hour mark, give it a taste-test, and see if you want to add the tomatoes or water then?
