OMG, I had the worst IV experience (well, the worst that ended in a successful IV and no maiming, I guess) last ER visit. I totally want to vent about it, but, ick IV. Safe to say, it hurt, and doctors aren't as deft as nurses and some nurses aren't as deft as other nurses, and never go into my neck twice, and you're right, I don't usually flinch. Jaysus.
But they got a line! They didn't resort to IM or subQ.
I cancelled mac's therapy today because he's having a playdate and I want him to enjoy the 70+ degree weather. His therapist is awesome and was all "I am sorry mac is not feeling well, of course we can cancel" They do not charge for same day cancellations because of illness, so she totally saved me. YAY!
I should clean the house some, maybe vacuum, but I just wanna play games.

I am one of the few people I know who had their wisdom teeth pulled without anesthesia.
I had mine out with just novocaine and laughing gas. I was awake. Just listened to my iPod during the whole thing. The oral surgeon gave me a few options, and being put under anesthesia kind of scared me.
