I am one of the few people I know who had their wisdom teeth pulled without anesthesia.
I had mine out with just novocaine and laughing gas. I was awake. Just listened to my iPod during the whole thing. The oral surgeon gave me a few options, and being put under anesthesia kind of scared me.

I told them they could help me wash dishes or sweep leaves if they could not find something to play together. I also told them that sitting on the sidelines and pouting is not the same thing as the other two not playing with you.
