Spike: Lots of fuss over one girl. Other things to do around here--important things. Angel: You know that whoosh thing you do when you're suddenly not there anymore? I love that.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Feel better all sickly Buffistas, and parents of same.

We are off to Ikea for breakfast and maybe to buy a potted plant or maybe even go nuts and buy a rug. Then I have to go to work for a few hours. And buy my assistant a gift, which I have NO IDEA about what to get her. Since she is awesome, I want it to be great.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Since she is awesome, I want it to be great.

Cruise around Burbank and buy her a hot rockabilly boy.

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

I think this weather is affecting my cats. Third day of rain, third day in a row they haven't woken us up with maniacal playing. Makes me sad.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Good. Glad to hear it. There was a giant family lighting the candles today for us. They each read, like, one line. It was very cute.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

There was a giant family lighting the candles today for us.

Did anyone else picture Hagrid and his kinsmen?

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

Add another sickie to the list. I couldn't sleep until about 2am. Breathe or sleep. Such challenging choices.

The kids are off snowboarding, I woke up around 9 and have wrapped a few packages. Exhausted now. Pathetic.

I wish I could just go somewhere to get flensed but none of the whaling ships near me take Medicare.

I Googled that, Connie, and it is a very nice building. I sure hope they're able to repair it. I'm totally with you on towns that don't value their architectural heritage. Esp because I feel like the average architecture in the US has gone right down the tubes...

I'm sorry so many are sick! I hope y'all get well soon.

I was up too late last night because I discovered a memento from when I had a job and income: S1 Mad Men eps from iTunes. I ended up watching them all night while doing hand sewing for this dress (for the gig in Jan).

Pretty sore. Various tight muscles causing pain so I may make an extra effort to do stretches today. And possibly walk in the rain just to get some exercise.

I hope the day goes well for y'all.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

I have actually cleaned all the things - well, most - today, as opposed to just kind of thinking about it yesterday.

I noticed that S1 and 2 Mad Men were super cheap at Costco the other day, for those who might be interested.
