Mal: Well, look at this! Appears we got here just in the nick of time. What does that make us? Zoe: Big damn heroes, sir.

I wish I could just go somewhere to get flensed but none of the whaling ships near me take Medicare.

I Googled that, Connie, and it is a very nice building. I sure hope they're able to repair it. I'm totally with you on towns that don't value their architectural heritage. Esp because I feel like the average architecture in the US has gone right down the tubes...

I'm sorry so many are sick! I hope y'all get well soon.

I was up too late last night because I discovered a memento from when I had a job and income: S1 Mad Men eps from iTunes. I ended up watching them all night while doing hand sewing for this dress (for the gig in Jan).

Pretty sore. Various tight muscles causing pain so I may make an extra effort to do stretches today. And possibly walk in the rain just to get some exercise.

I hope the day goes well for y'all.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

I have actually cleaned all the things - well, most - today, as opposed to just kind of thinking about it yesterday.

I noticed that S1 and 2 Mad Men were super cheap at Costco the other day, for those who might be interested.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

The extras on the Mad Men discs are worth it, including commentaries with the clothing designer.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

mac is at a friend's house for a 3 hour playdate. I was expecting the craigslist buyers for the Guitar Hero stuff between 1-2, but nothing yet. I need to leave about 3 to drive to the meet-up point for the craigslist buyer for the PS2.

So I'm waiting. I have laundry in, folded other laundry, football on, sorted some things to take to Goodwill, went through stack of mail.

Annndd posting makes it happen, the Guitar Hero people are 5 min away. Whoot!

brillig

We are getting deluged with rain here today. If this was snow, it'd be halfway up the walls by now. Thank god for rain.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Spent the morning at IKEA (thrilled to discover D is finally tall enough for Smaland, pissed that the time limit on weekends is 30 minutes!!!), am now home and full of meatballs.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Yay for posting makes it happen.

No, the family was not of giants! Although we do have one guy that towers over even Dave in the church.

Now I am standing in the music store trying to use its phone line to reactivate my directivo. It is not going well.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Breakfast at Ikea was cheap and fairly deelish. Bought a pretty palm and a pretty pot to put it in for the living room. Now I'm at work and hope I finish everything in under two hours.
