Me too-- I brought my tree upstairs from storage, and took it out of the box, and then went to get an extension cord so I could plug it in, but then stopped.

hip deep in pie
It's my last day at home before I head to my parents' for the holidays, so I am totally in Get Shit Done mode. I have been using twitter to proclaim my done list. But so far:
One sweater returned
Another sweater exchanged for different colour
Met with 2 different cat sitters to give keys
Litter cleaned
Exchanged timer @ walmart
New timer set in DR
3 loads of laundry done, 2 dried and folded
Counters in Kitchen wiped down two
Cleared the sidewalk
Bought final piece of SiL's Xmas present.
Whew!
I still need to:
Fix Xmas lights in LR
Get GC for my brother
Go to Liquor store
General tidy of house
Wrap hostess gift for party
Vacuum
Pack
Do dishes
I have two different Xmas parties tonight, so I can't poop around today.

I got it lit up (and it hasn't set itself or anything else on fire!), and got 8 ornaments on it, but then I had to stop to have a discussion with Dita about whether or not she could eat the tree.
