Allyson, I can tell you that AAA in Los Angeles does not think that young women are risk adverse, since we just had to pay the premium on my 19-year-old's new to her car. We had them quote it for both teen girl/teen boy (the youngest turns 15 soon so we need to budget yikes!) and there was just the slighest difference in price ($100!!) She's never had a ticket and is in her first semester at college w/ a 4.0 GPA.

Charlie Brown Christmas is on tonight at 8 on ABC - and there is supposed to be a new Prep & Landing short. Tivo caught Prep & Landing, a new Disney Pixar 1/2 hour cartoon, for us last year and Dillo has watched it approximately 400 times since then. He even now loves Chestnuts Roasting on an Open Fire, with which it begins

Good thing: My sister was the one who suggested we open the TJs fancy pants Joe joes collection, and because she's here (and wants some too), I won't be able to eat the whole thing in one sitting.
My boss is deliberately misinterpreting what happened in a meeting yesterday and making me edit the meeting minutes to reflect that. We're supposed to set up a business user advisory group, but he doesn't want to, so he's having me leave that out. Dude, it's going to come back and bite us in the ass. And you better not make it look like it has anything to do with me. Because I put it in.
ita, do you have documentation of your boss telling you to do that? If so, I'd save it.

Good stuff: I got a Xmas candy gift from a student, got three new books for next semester approved (I'm teaching The Poisonwood Bible! Which I love!) and just ate a French dip.
I made cock-a-leekie soup and it was so easy and came out pretty damn good.
