Zoe: Yeah? Thought you'd get land crazy that long in port. Wash: Probably, but I've been sane a long while now, and change is good.

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

As I explained in Bitches, not quite all, but most of the rest of the pictures and video from India [link]

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Jesse, weirdness. I just had something disappear out of my tumblr queue and not post too. Luckily I was able to backclick and find the entry again.

Because books.

I think tumblr is having some growing pains.

That sucks, quester.

Here's a tumblr. It's basically a short form blogging site. Mostly, I think, used to disseminate pictures.

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

I have used pumpkin seeds successfully in pesto. Sometimes I mix them with pine nuts when pine nuts are insanely pricey.

Why do I get more drinks bought for me in airport bars when I am tired and have no makeup than when I go out?

You look like you need them?

There is no explaining the Nazis. Why did they devote so many resources in the waning days of the war to continue to steal art? If they were sure the Final Solution was righteous, why did they pull men off the front to desperately try to destroy the evidence at the end?

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Because they were, ultimately, no more a monlith than any other human enterprise. In the end various parties primary interests shifted to "getting loot" and "covering our asses" - or at least more openly doing so.

Those were things ordered by the German high command. I understand individual CYOA actions and greed.

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

quester, that's awful.

Aims, let me share my "Had a high A and scored the highest score on the midterm in a huge group of Speech classes my frosh year, missed one speech and flunked the class immediately because I didn't read the syllabus" story.

Walked into the prof's office to reschedule the speech, and was told "Nope, the syllabus clearly states this. You flunk the course."

I had no compelling reason, so as much as it sucked, i retook the course the next semester. And I NEVER EVER EVER failed to read and keep a syllabus again.

I sympathize with you, but I also get why the profs hold to a set schedule; unless it is a really compelling reason, backed by proof, if you do it for one person, you have no recourse but to do it for all...and that turns into a giant clusterfuck.
