My parent's are easy to shop for. My brother is the hardest...he's not exactly chatty, so it's hard to know what he wants and he usually gets what he wants for himself anyway. I usually end up getting him a shirt, or something small and out of left field plus a gift card. I got him a set of Top Gear DVDs this year, because he's into cars. But I am not sure if he'll really like it.

Really glad we stopped buying gifts in my family. We just get together and eat and drink. It's definitely less stressful.
Usually we do a big group gift but this year my siblings abandoned me. Buttheads.
Honestly, other than the kids, I wish we'd do that. Though for brother and SIL, more than happy to give cash or gift cards or buy specific needs. The rest of us, ehn.
My parents are the pits to shop for. They have so much stuff. I just think about anything I'd buy them, and where it would go, and...my mind blanks. That's why my sister's travel purchases are so good. Otherwise I default to accessorising my mother and dressing my father, and neither of them need that.
I will have to look for OBs in the pharmacy tomorrow. Please don't fail me.
Somebody should write to Jezebel or somewhere and stir up a fuss about the OB crisis.
Marketing departments notice that sort of thing.
I bought myself my Christmas present yesterday. It gets delivered Tuesday. I can't wait!!! I need to make sure CJ has something for his dad and dad's gf. Beyond that, I think I'm set.
This is the hippo I bought for K: [link] Or from this store, but at a real life store for like $8 less! We've been singing that song for two weeks now so it's funny to get her a hippo!
And I bought body wash for her.
Me? I want one of these: [link]
I like getting presents for people. And I certainly like getting them. But, then again, my family is pretty good with presents and I've never had an extended family to buy for (except for the one year we were all in France).
I like doing presents when I like the presents. Otherwise, eh.
