I bought myself my Christmas present yesterday. It gets delivered Tuesday. I can't wait!!! I need to make sure CJ has something for his dad and dad's gf. Beyond that, I think I'm set.

Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, nail polish, duct tape, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.
This is the hippo I bought for K: [link] Or from this store, but at a real life store for like $8 less! We've been singing that song for two weeks now so it's funny to get her a hippo!
And I bought body wash for her.
Me? I want one of these: [link]
I like getting presents for people. And I certainly like getting them. But, then again, my family is pretty good with presents and I've never had an extended family to buy for (except for the one year we were all in France).
I like doing presents when I like the presents. Otherwise, eh.
I'm getting the kids a laptop. I'm tired of fighting them for time on my computer.
Do we know that the OB crisis is real? I've only seen things about the Ultra being discontinued, not the whole line.
I'm getting anxious because I bought some stuff from Eddie Bauer on Cyber Monday and had it shipped to a friend in MA. She hasn't let me know it arrived yet, so I am worried that they screwed up. I had to emailed them 5 days after I ordered it, because it wasn't showing up on my online EB account. They eventually sent me an acknowledgment and they notified me last week that it shipped. I think it may have gotten overlooked in the CyberMonday madness.
That said, I do really enjoy shopping for presents...for the most part.
I love shopping for gifts, but I get frustrated when the budget doesn't cooperate. I think my dad would love an MP3 player, for instance (once I, uh, set it up and loaded it for him), but I can't afford to do that this year.
I think I should have been a personal shopper, honestly. I could shop for days.
sarameg, let me know if you need a ride somewhere this week! I'm around in the evenings.
I have not started xmas shopping at all. Nor have I decided what cookies to make for cookie swap let alone practice baked anything.
We did, however, totally take apart the kitchen and put it back together to accommodate new stuff! And clean out the pantry, fridge, freezer, etc. It's great!
And we are working on our thank you note list. People = crazy generous. We are, however, worried about a couple of people who we think probably would have given us a gift but we don't have a card or anything from them. (Worried something got misplaced not worried about not getting a gift, of course!) I have no idea what one is supposed to do in that situation!
Also, I am kind of tan! And worried that I've forgotten how to do my job and I have to go back to work tomorrow.
I like that you're all tan and housing and MARRIED! It was a fantastic wedding.
Thanks for the ride offer! I'm probably ok for getting to and from work since coworker Tiff (from the cookie swap last year and you'll see her again this) lives right around the corner, so I can always schlep in with her. Just don't want car drama!
