Reavers ain't men. Or they forgot how to be. Now they're just nothing. They got out to the edge of the galaxy, to that place of nothing, and that's what they became.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

I'm being productive tomorrow. You can have all my productivity from today, Teppy.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

Thanks, Laga! I was pretty productive yesterday (baked apple crisp, washed dishes, paid my bills, went to the pharmacy, and MEGA-cleaned the bathroom [for me, this means "scrubbed floor on hands and knees instead of using the Swiffer wetjet," and let me tell you, the floor REALLY needed a good scrubbing]).

And being productive yesterday means I don't feel like doing anything today. But I do need those new jeans.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

I've gone grocery shopping. I forgot to buy Cheerios, though. I still need to deal with the pile of mail by my front door. (Bad thing about having a mail slot is that there's no real incentive to go through the mail each day. When I had a mailbox, I knew that it would get full if I didn't empty it.)

I can't stand retail so finding a new pair of jeans for me is a resale shopping ordeal. I'm fortunate to have my mom, who loves resale shopping and tends to bring me cute tops to try on while I'm working my way through a stack of jeans.

I'm not crazy about shopping, period (except grocery shopping -- I find it soothing, seriously), and I try to buy as much stuff online as I can. However, when it comes to pants of any kind, I need to try them on.

And I'd totally do resale/thrift shops if I were a non-plus size. Oh, I know that thrift shops have plus-size clothes, but it's hit or miss, and that's too much time potentially wasted if I go to a thrift store and can't find something in my size.

Occasionally I’m callous and strange

It's true most of the clothes you find in resale shops are in the middle range of sizes.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

I wish thrift stores were open on Sundays. I need some cheap warm sweaters for work.

Folding folding, la la la. Switched load to dryer, put more stuff away, purged a couple more things, finally emptied the suitcase from going to my folks back in September for my job interview.

Eating an apple. Tired of folding. Toooo many clothes... I have all this business wear that I probably need to get rid of, but I can't quite do it yet.

Sorted some mail. Cleaned off my dresser a bit. Need to clean off the flat surfaces in my living room.

I had some chocolate Special K. Watching No Reservations. Thinking about moving into the family room to play Tertris or maybe read The Amber Spyglass.
