A ghost? What's the deal? Is every frat on this campus haunted? And if so, why do people keep coming to these parties, cause it's not the snacks.

Spike's Bitches 46: Don't I get a cookie?

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Thrive to spite them

I accidentally spilled a bottle of Vitamin D supplements, these are small yellow almost gel like things. They fell on the tannish floor so I haven't quite found them all.

I just realized Dean the Cat was over there trying to eat them. He ate at least 1, possibly more. They are 1000 IUs each, could they harm him?

Yellow pages or google for 'emergency vet.' Every 24 hour vet has a help line.

The problem is that pet poison lines charge you a huge fee before they'll even talk to you.

One site says

4545 IU/lb of food consumed on a dry matter basis for adult cats

also

What are the symptoms of vitamin D toxicosis?

Vitamin D toxicosis causes hypercalcemia (abnormally high blood calcium levels), which results in the calcification of various tissues & the intestinal tract, skeletal abnormalities & eventually renal failure, cardiac upset & GI upset.

Yeah I found the pet poison number - $60! But I also found a 24 emergency vet in Burlington so I'm on the phone with them now.

Dean, unfortunately, will try and eat anything. He also has digestive issues and only eats 1 type of cat food and needs FortiFlora supplements.

Maddie was smart enough to ignore pills on the floor.

You are BRILLIANT.

Okay, I'm finally looking at this COBRA schtuff. I have until the end of June to send it in, and it's retroactive, and I don't have to prove I'm insurable, and I have 45 days after date of election to pay my first premium ($335). Soooo... is there any reason I shouldn't wait a while*? I might not need it, and I'm short on cashola at the moment.
