I'm so sorry, but if it makes you feel any better, my fun-time-Buffy party night involved watching a robot throw Spike through a window, so if you want to trade... no wait, I wouldn't give up that memory for anything.

Oh, I've been wearing boots sometimes, and velvet waistcoats. But now we're moving into PROPER weather for layers. And tights!

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

I swear, insurance companies just want to piss you off so that you won't deal with their bullshit. All I needed was the motherfucking phone number for my doctor to call in the prescription. That's it. Instead, she says "I have to verify you first" No, you stupid bitch, you don't because I have ALREADY been through that shit. All I need IS A FUCKING PHONE NUMBER.

Oh, I hate when I have to type in some long number for an automated thing, and verify my expiration date or address or whatever, and my phone number, and my DOB, and my SSN, and yadda yadda....and then wait on hold for an hour...and then finally get to a person...and they ask me all that info again!!

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Yikes.

Here's a nice way to end the work day on Friday: Champagne and watching a funny video with the team.

Hey, maybe we get champagne on Monday. This is totally a boozy company.

Yeah, I only wish it had started a couple of minutes sooner, because I really have to catch the early shuttle to get my CSA stuff in time. So I was like, "Awesome! Gotta run!!"

ION, I got an email about an alumni event here that I totally would have done, except I'll be out of town! Hmph. At least they have me on the right local list now.

With apologies to msbelle and our other Buffistas who are good at decluttering: you know what one of the advantages to being a packrat is? When you really want a jacket that resembles one on a piece of fan art someone did of you, there's a good chance that you have the sort of jacket AND trim necessary to create it stashed away in a box.

(Okay, fine. This epiphany doesn't work for everyone. YEMV.)
