Happy birthday, Perkins!

Birthday Happies Perkins!!
I could get an audio clip of Misha Collins saying "Confetti! It's a parade!" over and over, with vuvuzuelas in the background. Sound good? And sparkle text the main titles.
It would be epic... for about 3.5 seconds. Then my head might explode.
So... I had my interview. I think it went okay, best interview I've given but that's a low bar. If I don't get it, I think my framing rustiness will be the reason, but that's something I can polish up pretty easily and it's a growing organization. I should hear something Monday. Now to spend the weekend crunching budget numbers.
In possibly related news, apparently five people have just been laid off in the department that pays my bills, which is not the one I work with, but... now could be the time.
Happy birthday Perkins!!!!
Happiest of birthdays, Perkins! With cake and much love!
Happy birthday, board! How old are we?
Happy birthday, Perkins!
Um Zen, you need to make some calls. I am happy to harass you until you do, or to even do some legwork for you to make it happen. It's 9:30 here now. I expect to hear that you have called a shrink before noon my time. DO NOT MAKE ME COME OVER THERE!
Never having had a mammogram, at age 47.
Forget the rest. Schedule the mammogram.
I'm pushing my luck on many fronts, but the small, annoying pushing my luck right now is the very loud noise my dryer is making. It sounds bearingish and I'm afraid running the dryer will make it worse, but I'm doing it anyway.
X-posted with Comedy:
I'm not sure where to mention this, but I think comedy is appropriate. Jon Stewart announced that he's having a rally in Washington on 10-30-2010 - the Rally to Restore Sanity: [link]
I saw that announcement, but apparently Colbert (in the episode last night I haven't seen yet) announced a march in DC on the same day - the March to Keep Fear Alive (if you click to "do not click here" button it toggles you between the two web sites).
Thing is, I will be in the Baltimore/DC area that same weekend visiting friends in MD, so I may actually be able to attend this thing!
Speaking of shrinks, I think I may have gotten more insight out of two hours with a presentation coach yesterday than I ever have in therapy.
