X-posted with Comedy:
I'm not sure where to mention this, but I think comedy is appropriate. Jon Stewart announced that he's having a rally in Washington on 10-30-2010 - the Rally to Restore Sanity: [link]
I saw that announcement, but apparently Colbert (in the episode last night I haven't seen yet) announced a march in DC on the same day - the March to Keep Fear Alive (if you click to "do not click here" button it toggles you between the two web sites).
Thing is, I will be in the Baltimore/DC area that same weekend visiting friends in MD, so I may actually be able to attend this thing!
Speaking of shrinks, I think I may have gotten more insight out of two hours with a presentation coach yesterday than I ever have in therapy.
I've gotta admit, Frankenbuddha, that's one of the few marches that would tempt me.
Happy birthday, board! May you and your denizens have many many more.
smonster, I'm glad the interview went fairly well. Much call you back with an offer~ma.
If the weather is good, then my daughter will get to go to her very first march on the Mall!
Sara, Ben, and I are all home sick. Sara just came in to tell me that Ben is watching "Pythons and the Holy Grain." Took me a minute to parse that.
Happy birthday, Perkins!
Happy Phoenix Day, Board!
Brenda, I am intensely curious about that presentation, now.
Sara's version makes almost more sense. Pythons would be good for keeping the holy grain safe from mice, anyway.
Ben is watching "Pythons and the Holy Grain." Took me a minute to parse that.
Dude. I thought it was the retelling of Joseph and the famine in Egypt in Veggie Tales upon first reading.
I found an outfit in my closet I'd not only never worn before, I couldn't remember buying. Vintage of some sort. Since I can't wear jeans today, why not overdress?
Still sick, Amy? Ugh.
I for one, am sick of all these mutherf***ing snakes on the mutherf***ing grain.
