Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.
I am pushing my luck by catching up here in my free half-hour instead of either preparing for my next meeting or doing my actual job. I think less spending and taxes is the primary message, but the crucial question of what to actually cut seems pretty murky.
And the fact that taxes are lower now than they were under Reagan seems totally to have escaped notice.
