And now my boy's in love. All hearts and flowers. But, doesn't it freak you out that she used to change your diapers? I mean, when you think about it, the first woman you boned is the closest thing you've ever had to a mother. Doing your mom and trying to kill your dad. Hm. There should be a play.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Tommyrot, that's terrifying. The vapid blonde on Fox & Friends even LOOKS like a Six!

Punishingly Intricate

After hearing so much about Christine O'Donnell, I decided to visit her campaign website to see first hand what her positions are, but there appears to be nothing there.

What's most appalling to my DE relatives is that she's not even from there. She's from...NEW JERSEY!

I just refilled my anti-anxiety meds and realized it has been almost a year since the last refill. Not sure if that is good or bad. Should I have been using them more or are my anti-depressants doing their job and keeping my panic attacks under control ahead of time?

ita, I wish I had ideas for fending off lunch dude. You would think "Thanks, but no thanks" would be enough.

Liese, my heart goes out to all involved.

Man, it still bugs the shit out of me when someone assumes I'm "Mrs. Harbin." How hard is it for your default to be "Ms?" god

I can only imagine how annoyed I'm going to get when people assume I've taken my husband's last name (as they inevitably will). Not that it isn't a great name! It just won't be MY name.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Thing is, he's asked me if we can go for lunch in a few weeks. So I can't really say anything but "Uh, okay, sure?" right now. When I get around to answering. At least I've set precedent for being slow about that.

Boss just told us we have to come in Saturday.

What?

I have 45 minutes of work to do Saturday. I can't work out if it's worth telling him this. But I will also be suffering last-day-before-ER migraine and really need to not be in front of a lot of people. This I seriously need more help with than lunch guy.

My hand is still swollen, but doing much ebtter.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Three minutes after I left the doctor's office, there was a downpour. I have extra shoes in my desk and an extra cardigan to wear while my jacket dries out, but I'm stuck with wet jeans all day.

I really try not to get annoyed at people for this, but when it's my DH's friends and relatives who still address things to us as Mr & Mrs. @@

I think I've told this story here before, but a few weeks after we were married, my college alumni association addressed something to me using his last name, which freaked me out (since I certainly didn't tell them I was getting married) and then a few weeks after that I got something else, addressed correctly, with a little handwritten note apologizing for the mistake. My only explanation is that they bugged our living room.
