Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

No offense taken, Dana. I just guess I see more doctors than anyone actually outside a facility. At least two a week. It would be ironic for me to get struck by something woeful inbetween.

Amy, usually the nurse lines have been very useless for me. They seemed to be reading from WebMD. This was the first time the person told me something I hadn't already googled.

Man, I'm tempted to leave my posts unedited.

I just gave a presentation to a class, came back to my desk and checked Facebook, and found a new post by a student in the class who happens to be on my friendlist, made during the class. Facebook etiquette fail, young man!

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

We are to the point in our Dr. work now where our specialists want the name of our GP and neither mac nor I have one yet. What we have are:

2 therapists
1 psychiatrist
1 ob/gyn (unseen thus far)
1 breast specialist (unseen thus far)
1 orthopedic surgeon (unseen thus far)
1 school counselor
1 psychiatrist in NY
1 therapist in NY
1 massage therapist
1 fibro dr. in NY

we also have a GP in NY, but she's kinda useless for getting info. Goal for the week is setting up appts for both mac and I locally.

Today also seems to be Tom Hardy's birthday, My sister is beside herself with excitement.

Because books.

It's a good day that brought Tom Hardy into the world.

I need to find a pediatrician for the kids, and probably make an appointment for Ben's bum foot at A.I. Dupont again. They're sliding scale, and he was there as a baby, so maybe that won't be too bad. I also need an GYN and a GP, but I think I'm going to go with my parents' GP because they love her.

Ann, that's a ferret.

Sounds like DC is having a seriously screwed up commute this morning.

What happened? I had no problem, but I get to the office pretty early. And the freeway outside my office is running smoothly, which is pretty rare.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

What happened?

Did someone find a headless corpse?

Oh, I think that warrants being called out next time.

Alas, I only do one-shot appearances in other people's classes, so there is no next time. He's a sweet kid, too. (And his post was about making plans to go see the Women On The Verge Of A Nervous Breakdown musical in NYC!)

I dunno, flea, I think the appropriate response is a comment saying "ettiquette FAIL! You posted this instead of paying exquisite attention to every word I was presenting to your class? I'm hurt."

(eta--I realize that could sound like I'm making fun of you an I'm not! Just meaning a lighthearted comment is the way to go)
