All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

The photo on the Tribune article about the headless body looks like something out of The Hurt Locker.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

That's crazy that you're in Yosemite on the internets, Tom!

ita's hand situation is also crazy, but in the bad way. Home sounds good.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Cool and wacky store: Echo Park Time Travel Mart

Lots o' wacky products....

The store is in LA.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

How do they make money?

My hand is cold.

I am bored.

Elevate! Elevate!

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

Cat filter. Has anyone had a cat that collapses on its side all the time? Not like an injury/health thing, but Kripkat seems often possessed with the urge to just pancake himself on the ground, all day long. He's happy when he does it, but does this mean he's constantly submitting to me? I can't find anyone else on the internet with a similar curiosity. ETA: he looks like this, but like a housecat: [link]

signed,
cats are weird

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

One of our cats does that. He likes to collapse dramatically in front of us or the dogs, and then just stays there, quite pleased with himself. As you saw with the lion, it's a Thing.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

bon bon - one of my sister's cats does this all the time, to the point that we've nicknamed the phenomenon "Sissy go boom." My cat does it when being petted, giving the misleading impression that she wants you to pet her stomach(Not. Recommended.). Is this a recent development?

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

He's just been doing it a lot more often to Bob and me lately (eta: but he's been at it for months with less frequency). There are a lot of not-good things happening involving him so it's good if it shows he's happy, it's just...frequent.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

Our cat Toke does that all the time. ALL THE TIME. She practically flings herself to one side (rather than just flopping and letting gravity do the work).

I file it under Pets Is Weird, part 9,326.
