Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I'm thinking about a glassblowing class, myself.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

You both know that blacksmithing and glassblowing involve really hot stuff, right? So keep the burn ointments handy.

Jesse, in the Bay Area all the glassworkers seem to hang out at The Crucible an arty-foundry thing. They have a huge fire festival every year. Lots of Burning Man types working on their projects there.

Always Anti-fascist!

Emma looks hot. Profile peeve: the writer should have written something like "the role that defined her to moviegoers" I'm pretty sure that she doesn't think of *herself* as Hermione Granger.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

As for geeky wedding cakes I would like to point out that JZ and I had Willow and Oz for toppers and had the entire Hippo Dignity speech written on the cake.

Awww, if I knew that I'd forgotten. Awesome.

Glassblowing and blacksmithing both sound awesome! I am taking salsa, but missing the first class this week.

That's worth a lot of geek cred.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Go Sue! Everyone I know who has taken blacksmithing classes ended up getting really into it. I met these people when they were demonstrating smithing, though, so there's some serious selection bias at work. But it's nifty, that much I'm sure of. Whacking hot metal with hammers! Awesome! You make most of the tools you use, that's just cool.

Glassblowing is also neat but even just watching people do glassblowing is hot and tiring.

I have been to the DMV and gotten thumbprinted for an affidavit and now I am taking a break.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

The cake decorator was psyched to write it out. She was a Buffy fan.

hip deep in pie

So keep the burn ointments handy.

I plan to wrap myself in asbestos. Glass blowing would be really fun too.
