I keep thinking of that Nip/Tuck where Misha plays a yoga instructor...
I think it's cute, msbelle, and will look great with your face shape.
I also think a short cut like that needs a standout color, assiduous trims, daily flatiron application and lots of product. FYI.
cute cut, msbelle
I realize I need to ask Kat sometime about the difference between Ashtanga, Anusara, and Vinyasa yoga. But not tonight. I should go to bed soon.
Egad. I have a kindergartener starting school tomorrow.

Hey, while Manny Skerrit's particular situation was fictional, that yoga pose that made it theoretically possible wasn't a stunt double.
I feel today was fairly productive. I did laundry, went grocery shopping, cleaned my stovetop including the metal pans under the heating elements, squirted down my tub with bleach (will scrub in the a.m. when it's done its work), and pushed through to complete my racy Ben Browder illustration tonight.
Didn't get the artwork that I wanted to done but *did* get most of my loose office supplies into an undertable plastic drawer I bought.
I like the short cut, msbelle.
Bikram is also trademarked or copyrighted it's sequence of poses to prevent anyone from teaching it or opening a Bikram studio without the creator profiting.
In Berkeley I was all about the ashtanga yoga. Here the only studio I've enjoyed is a Bikram one because I found the owner to be encouraging and supportive of people in the room at every level. (In Berkeley, Bikram was the pick-up yoga place for singles and I wouldn't be caught dead there.) I can not tell you how many studios I tried around here when we moved - 15? 20? in various disciplines and there were teachers who ignored injuries, put on make-up and perfume right before they taught class, or used half the classes to tell us about their personal philosophy and/or spirituality. And classes here are much more expensive than in CA, so I ended up pissed off more often than not.
In short, I think that yoga and college have a lot in common in that you should choose classes by teacher and not by subject wherever possible.
My hair loses all of its wave when it is that short, but it is very easy to take a shape with just brushing wet or styling while drying. I have no plans to color as I do not have the funds, and my hope is that if I get it cut right, it will grow between cuts into the most recent mid-length that looked good on me, we'll see.
Oddly enough, today's Chicago Groupons are for Bikram Yoga.
