A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

It's been trendy for a while, ita. Some people love it -- it's yoga done in a roon generally heated to above 100. Warmth loosens the muscles and generally allows people to get into poses deeper. Some people also believe sweating gets toxins out of the body.

I can't stand hot temps, so I haven't done it. I have friends who have, and they said it was good, but the heat really wrings you out.

I read those tweets, and was superjealous of ita for a while, for being friends with someone who goes to yoga with Misha Collins. I might suffer through hot yoga for that!

Just got home from KCD's b-day party. The more I get to know his gf, B, the more I like her. It seems kinda mutual. That boy is screwed if they break up. Added bonus - she gave up a couple of bottles of canned peaches. Will tuck those away for the dark of winter.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Colin knows full well how I feel about Misha, and is not above taunting me. Hmmph.

Ashtanga yoga is the only yoga I've really done, and it was taxing enough for me, thanks.

Because books.

I thought ashtanga *was* the hot yoga!

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Great pic! And a nice haircut.

Wouldn't he do better to taunt you with, say, an introduction?

That would be SO CRUEL.

I had a boss who did it while trying to get fit for her wedding, and lost tons of weight (she wasn't big to start with, by any means, but ended up like, a size 4) and LOVED it. She said it was really tough to start with, but was addictive after a couple sessions. The results were tempting, but I tend to be super heat sensitive...OTOH, I like saunas and stuff, sometimes, and don't die, so....I keep contemplating and not doing.

I like saunas and Jacuzzis, but I like to LOUNGE in heat, jump into a cool pool (or step outside into the night) and return.

I don't like MOVING in heat.
