I mean, let's say you did kill us. Or didn't. There could be torture. Whatever. But somehow you found the goods. What would your cut be?

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

They did NOT ask us to buy a car, although at one point, DH's dad said we should give them money some money. J said no and it calmed down. We gave them our old TV which we were happy to do and bought them meals.

Man, I don't want to finish installing this door tonight, but I'm gonna want to even less after working all day and going to the gym.

Shrift, I've been meaning to say that I'm impressed with your gym attendance.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

I haven't seen this pic, but the week she was on the Emmys, like Anne Hathaway and Emma Watson also went very short, and I got hairlust. But Must Tamp Down.

Why must you tamp down? Why?!

In this city is a mess my poor friend and neighbor K got threateningly approached (How much money do you have?) as she got home a little while ago tonight. They followed her until she managed to get inside and get the doors locked. Yes, she called the police. We occasionally have these crimes of opportunity around here. Anyway, I've told her she needs to call me from her car after she parks, and I'll walk her to the corner and watch as she gets into the house, armed with a phone and a rake. She's got a roommate or I'd have her over for the night (if I could get her to leave the house.)

The alleys are problematic, because they aren't within view of everyone's front rooms and porches, and with decks and all, not a straight line view. And for those living on the curve of Ellerslie and 36th, alleys are their primary entrance.

Anyway. Hate when this shit comes into my community.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I was in Detroit over the weekend, and holy shit. It's really tragic there. Blocks and blocks are deserted, so many burned out and otherwise abandoned buildings. Yikes.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

I was in Detroit over the weekend

!!! HEY!

It's really tragic there. Blocks and blocks are deserted, so many burned out and otherwise abandoned buildings. Yikes.

It is. It has been pretty bad for years, but the economy and a horrible, corrupt mayor and school system have really fucked it up beyond what it was before. Even the casinos aren't helping much anymore.

I was at a wedding, so no time for anything else. I did get to a casino, but only for a couple of hours (including lunch).
