"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

My farmers markets never seem to have fruit. But there are lots of peaches at the supermarket. I was going to buy yesterday and can today, but it didn`t happen. Instead I am lolling about, getting ready for our band meeting this afternoon and debating on whether I should buy a side dish or make one.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

what immediate outcomes is he expecting?

I have no idea! The test that wasn't representative involved a lot more than just me and the two guys he wanted me to call. But I've spoken to both of them by now. Sadly, I had napped, and dreamt up a resolution to the whole thing which required no further actions on my part. And then I woke up to a phone call...

Still, I hope I can handle the rest of this by text message from here on in.

Traveling is an ordeal and it's less because of Grace and way more because of Noah and his attempts at non-stop-motion.

Ah, explosive kidlet.

I asked my mother what I was like at three, and apparently I didn't get up to much. I only took half an eye. I...I kinda can't work out why.

Omg y'all, I just set up the old analog tv that I inherited on the move. We don't have cable and the rabbit ears are on the bigger tv in the family room as that is the one we use mostly. So I was just hoping this one might get reception with only being hooked up to a converter. No go. So then I decided to at least get the dvd player hooked up (dvd player goes on this one and vcr+playstation are on the other). All attempts to connect the dvd through the converter were failure, so I connected it directly to the tv, but the only plus are in the front, so there are cable running out from a side shelf around the tv stand and to the front of the tv. So messy. Then I get the idea to just put a coax cable into the converter and see if it will act as an antenna. It does, somewhat, but some channels, like cbs, do not. so I grab the closest thing I see to boost the antenna, an am band antenna for my stereo receiver. I twist the wire connectors around the metal plug of the coax end and the stretch it across the room. Success! Dude, I feel like mcgyver.

msbelle is totally McGyver.

I am trying to decide how early I can go to bed tonight, after a weekend of not enough sleep, but a lot of fun.
