Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

“We’ll be looking at the truck schedules, as well, to narrow down the local origin and the truck that brought in the body,” added Lt. Vernon.

ooh, I didn't know they could do that! Noted.

What?

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

I would like to be eating ice cream this weekend. Instead I'll be hosting 7 girls for popcorn and Pee Wee's Big Adventure. TGFMargaritas. Plus we have the start of soccer season tomorrow. And another birthday party on Sunday. And the first day of school on Monday--and yes that means Isaac's first day of kindergarten.

Today after a full day of work including meetings, I took the kids to get haircuts. I am tired like a dawg, but am waiting for DH to come home from DC.

Then I have to find some kids to appear to be fascinated while I read. Plying them with sugar seems like good start.

I can think of two who'd love to be there. Did I mention that I think you should do a reading at the children's book store near me as well? Because I love that store and it would ROCK to have you there.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

All-inclusive in JA. IJS.

I approve this plan!

In fact, I believe I shall do just that.

I wish I could just go somewhere to get flensed but none of the whaling ships near me take Medicare.

Yet another Time Warner brownout. I may have to carve some space out of my meager budget for my own ISP. This crap doesn't seem to annoy my parents enough to make them quit Time Warner (although it is a lot of crap. They go hours without and they also try to get my BIL in here to troubleshoot the system a lot.)

I was trying to avoid this for budgetary reasons. Also because I figure brownouts will drive me to be productive offline. But I'm working with a designer for some promo for my album now and there are deadlines so no internet during deadlines is a real problem.

I hope everyone has a swell weekend!

If there is a need then it is deserved.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Walk good, Perkins.

I'm off to try and sleep. Oy.

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

I got into a mild tiff out there in the world wild web beyonds with a woman who told another wife not to take too many vacations without her man, or she'd lose him.

Pfft. I think that's ridiculous. I love my husband, but he is a homebody, and also, not as adventurous as I am. We can take nice food, art or geek-oriented vacas with each other, but I see them as shorties. If I were to want a beach vaca with lots of 'ritas, dancing and possible wildness, i would totes go with my girlfriends. He would be miserably bored. And sunburned. And that is just fine. If he were to want to go to some crazy geek-fest with his internet friends, I would be happy to have the house to myself for a while.

I trust him; he trusts me. We have our similar interests, and our separate interests. And that makes us well-rounded as individuals AND as a couple.
