I haven't driven by there in ages. It's just down the road from my brother's high school, so I used to go by there quite often and always loved looking at the place.
Joliet does have some really gorgeous old houses.

Is it wierd that this organization is asking for letters of recommendation? Is it okay to say "hey, don't have letter, but I have references and can get letters."

Ann, that's a ferret.
The Federal government means that DC's economy isn't going to fall below a certain point. The down side is, getting hired by the Feds is a long process.
