Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

Oh man, I look back at the bridesmaid gown I picked and I want to write letters of appology to all the women. I had a completely different image in my mind - wanted dark green - but got talked around to a pastel blue, floofy, hoop skirted THING that actually had bows on the butt. Why? How? I don't know. I blame it on being 19 and foolish.

But it doesn't specify if they have to be outside pants

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

I was a bridesmaid in my sister's wedding (1981) and best woman in my male friend's wedding (1993). The dress I wore as a bridesmaid required almost no changes to double as a generic SF princess dress at mid-80s conventions. As best woman I wore a tux shirt and jacket over a black skirt. I liked the latter better.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Oh, thanks, smonster....

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

I have been a bridesmaid 4 times. Last October was the most recent and it was a lesbian wedding where all the attendants were "best friends" rather than bridesmaids or groomsmen.

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

I have one bridesmaid's dress that I wear a lot. It's a simple floor length black gown, with a scoop neck and short sleeves. Another one was a floor length navy blue with velvet top and satin skirt. I had that one cut to knee length and wore it a few times. I have another one make of a really pretty blue irridescent satin with spaghetti straps. One of the straps broke, though and I need to get it fixed. I haven't had occasion to wear it again, but I would.

That shirt would be even funnier in England.

And none of us deserving the cruelty or the grace -- Leonard Cohen

I was in Oldest Brother's wedding (when I was three), and Middle Brother's first and second weddings, but not the third. (He eloped to Vegas for that one, because by then I think we were all kind of over it.) I've also been in two friends' weddings.

The only really hideous dress I had to wear was as the ring bearer for Middle Brother's first wedding. It was a yellow chiffon number that was a lot of look. Also I had to stand for the entire full (bilingual) Mass, and I was ten. Two-plus hours. ETERNAL.
