I caught her on a park bench, making out with a *chaos* demon! Have you ever seen a chaos demon? They're all slime and antlers.

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

It is amazing how people try to rip you off and think that you won't notice because it's a small amount. I requested some documentation from my mortgage lender, and they said it would cost $10 (highway robbery, but I digress). I get my statement, and it says that I owe "other charges" of $13.78. I call and ask where the $3.78 comes from, and no one can tell me! Plus, she couldn't just waive it, she had to get an override. A lot of people would have just paid it, but I am a cheap SOB (and I hate my mortgage company and don't want to give them a dime more than I have to).

Now tagless for your comfort.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I am also not buying any more tea until I have worked my way through the variety in my cabinets. Use it or trash it. Sitting in the cabinet forever is silly. And yet...

I'm doing the same thing. I know some of the tea in my cupboard is 4+ years old. Though I did slip up and buy some Duchess Grey at TJ's over the weekend.

To make up for that, I think I will have a cup right now.

I've never been in a wedding, except my sister's, in which I symbolized the West, jangled some wind chimes, and smudged the Unitarian minister with sage. Also wore my own clothes.

Because books.

I've been in three weddings, one of them my brother's. I was happy to do it every time, but if I was asked again I would hope it was a more casual thing. Or that bridesmaid wear had evolved since the early '90s.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Know what niggling charge I really resented? A cable company who not only charged you rental on the cable box (standard enough, I suppose), but also a separate rental fee on the remote to control it.

The status is NOT quo.

Tommy, ouch! Feel better soon. Also, I don't have the exact address handy, but Drew is in Room 672 West at Huntington Memorial Hospital in Pasadena, CA. You can google the rest.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

I haven't been in a wedding since I was the flower girl in my sister's wedding when I was seven. I'm fine with that. Too much responsibility.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I've stood up in two weddings. They were fantastic fun, and the clothes were cool and paid for (though not really wearable again, despite the brides thinking that way).

I would love a hoop skirt. I've never worn one before. If someone is willing to ruin her wedding pictures by dressing me like a fool, I'll certainly do my part and besmirch the photographs.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Yeah, I liked both of the bridesmaid dresses I've worn, but would never wear them again, just because I don't go to events of that level very often. I mean, if I were in formalwear a lot, maybe I could do something with the one.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Thanks, Pix.

It seems the heat and Ibuprofen has at least made my jaw stop hurting, so that's something.

Also, I'm totally brainfarting here, but what is Drew's last name?
