Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Jesse, thing is, your confinement thing? Makes me wanna hug you, hard and long. Be warned.

I want to be 5'9. How do we correct upwards?

Ginger--I might actually say "hash-Bookzilla." Just in case. But not "at TheOtherThing." That would be silly.

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

5'4" is the same problem as 5'8", isn't it, just on the other dividing line.

Nah, because you have too much fabric on one side, which can be hemmed easily, but you can't make fabric out of nothing.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

I solved the length problem by buying the "long" jeans and wearing 4" heeled boots. I'm 5'7".

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

Nah, because you have too much fabric on one side, which can be hemmed easily, but you can't make fabric out of nothing.

But pants that are designed for taller people have problems besides the length. I've tried on plenty of pairs of pants where the waistband ended up somewhere around my bra band. Well-made petite pants also have a shorter rise.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Vortex, I meant petite/regular v regular/long. Of course it doesn't help when brands don't sell longs.

ita, you know I love to hug you.

It's also build. I don't have big hips and have no rear, but really long legs for my height.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

This is why I don't bother!

Because books.

Nah, because you have too much fabric on one side, which can be hemmed easily, but you can't make fabric out of nothing.

But I don't want to be taller just for the pants!

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

I can't stop creating roller derby names.

'Cuz you're awesome at it! You should think up roller derby names for msbelle and ita and rio.

I can't believe Skanky McFarland hasn't been registered. Maybe too obscure?

Generational thing, I expect.

sarameg, I think you're pretty photogenic.

But I don't want to be taller just for the pants!

Right, there's the whole looming thing which is hard to do at 5'4".

Oooh, look how I snuck the quotes marks inside the end-stop there.

not your mom's socks.

At just under 5'1", I think I can safely say pants must not fit anyone.

Very much this. Though I'm currently liking a pair of Columbia hiking pants. I think they're supposed to be cropped though. NSM, and I'm fine with that.

Right, there's the whole looming thing which is hard to do at 5'4".

Oh we can loom. It's just subtle.
