Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I'm listening to my coworker cry as we speak -- she's been out sick for two days and dragged herself in this morning, but probably shouldn't have. Poor noodle. She had the H1N1 last year, and gets everything ever since.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

Now tagless for your comfort.

Good luck, msbelle. I hope you guys can get some insight and mac is ok.

The rain is fucking with my sinuses.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Patience and calm~ma for Mac and msbelle.

Amy - I moved in 7th grade and it took a loooing time to adjust. Not much you can do but be supportive and validate her feelings while she figures it out. ((()))

Ann, that's a ferret.

msbelle, good luck with mac. You need and deserve it.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

ita, Spartacus is...interesting. It's almost a good show. I need to rewatch that vid now that I've seen the show.

Also, the star looks like Sam Worthington, except with actual expressions on his face.

Because books.

Amy - I moved in 7th grade and it took a loooing time to adjust.

That's what's funny -- Ben is in eighth and he coasted through school yesterday happy as a clam and came home talking about new friends! So weird. You never know what to expect with kids. I moved a few times as kid, too, though, and it's never easy. I think with Sara it's just startling because she's generally so easygoing and fearless.

Soon I'm going to have to write a post a la sarameg, though, because this neighborhood ROCKS, and everyone is so friendly. I was very heartened that the parents waiting for the school bus yesterday afternoon were joking about having a cocktail hour via rolling cooler while we wait for the kids.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

the star looks like Sam Worthington, except with actual expressions on his face.

I was halfway to that realisation, but couldn't work out what was niggling at me. Thanks!

I'm really pleased with Misfits. And the vids almost made me want to watch Watchmen again, to see why everyone and their maiden aunt decided to make almost the same vid. Okay, that was unkind. But they did choose very similar shots. Peril of a movie source.

As a kid, I loved moving. I loved the drama of the whole thing. I'm not sure what that was about. Probably not healthy.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

All the best, msbelle. I hope the therapist helps the situation.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

We never moved when I was a kid. In fact, my father moved for the first time in his life when he was about 70.
