The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

What they all said, msbelle. I'm glad he's home and safe, and hope things ease up a hell of a lot.

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

msbelle, I am very glad he's safe. And I am always, ALWAYS in awe of what you do every day.

Jake just met Bam Margera of skateboarding (and sort of douchebaggy) fame. He lives in town. Jake is starry-eyed.

Awww. I only know who Bam Margera is because of his connection with the bombast rock band HIM. If Ville Valo is roaming around your town, send him to me.

"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

msbelle, glad he's safe. I hope tomorrow the therapist has something that will help all of you.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

The DVDs of vids from VividCon have convinced me to try Misfits (I couldn't believe that character), and Spartacus (oh, the blood and nudity). I'm on ep 3 of Misfits so far, and it strikes me like the sort of show I've been told to watch and just said "Yeah, yeah" about,

They're all petty criminals. I mean, they meet doing community service.

Thank goodness Mac made it back safely! In your shoes, I'd probably be giving Mark Twain's take on childrearing methods serious consideration.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

msbelle, so glad to hear mac is home safe. Much love and strength to all of you.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Damn, I hate when I ask a perfectly reasonable question and get a kindergarten-level answer from someone (almost certainly a guy) who ends his careful explanation with a condescending encouragement and a smiley face. I don't even know how to respond without just being all-out bitchy and sarcastic, and thus probably killing my chances of getting an actual answer from anyone.

"Big things are easier to see than small things! Think about it! ;-)"

I swear, sometimes I want to just never speak in a public forum again. I hate people.

And because I'm not a complete misanthrope and it deserves a separate post, I'm very relieved that mac got home safely!

Glad the Discovery folks are okay, too.

"And that's why God Almighty gave us fire insurance and the public defender".

I'm glad that mac is back home, and much {{{}}} to him and msbelle. I wish you all a good, productive session tomorrow with the therapist. And I also agree that

msbelle is doing a hero's work every day.

Suzi, much, much dental~ma.

Because books.

More tears from Sara this morning, which is so unusual. Moving is HARD.
