Jayne: Yeah, that was some pretty risky sittin' you did there. Wash: That's right, of course, 'cause they wouldn't arrest me if we got boarded, I'm just the pilot. I can always say I was flying the ship by accident.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

bonny, I will totally buy two copies of your e-book, one for me and one for parents.

The echidna debates made me snort out loud.

sarameg, I live in the hope of a transformation like yours. So beautiful to read about.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

I'll definitely sign on for a copy.

Am out on the lake in my dad's tiny little fishing boat. Awesome.

I wish I could just go somewhere to get flensed but none of the whaling ships near me take Medicare.

Timelies all!

Happy birthday, meara!

I'm full of gronk today because I couldn't get to sleep until 3ish but had to get up early today for an appt. I'm cycling uptown to look at a proposed site for a community garden. I feel like it's an exercise in futility at this point given that the new city code on community gardens forces several thousand dollars of environmental site assessments and site improvement on gardeners regardless if it's public or private land. Really depressed about it.

Oh well, time to put my shoes on, grab some quick b'fast and cycle up there.

Our wings are not tired.

I just have to say this in thread, Java did an amazing and lightening speed upgrade on my doggy lama handbook. I am in awe and greatly appreciative.

Oh it was fun to spruce it up a bit.

Uhg, so Mister Kitty had what I'm pretty sure was a low blood sugar episode. He was pacing crazily, with weak legs. Poured some Karo and got a can of food into him, and an hour later, he seems much more normal. He's done this a couple times before, with no clear indication of what caused it.

Cleaned the downstairs, will go to the pool shortly. I should note, I slept in and did basically NOTHING until around 1. Wasn't the plan, but doesn't really hurt anything.

OK, gotta get a move on.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I've managed to have a Sarameg kind of a morning, productivity wise. I've done 8 loads of laundry, and put away about 2 of them, done some cleaning, gone to the mall to use my Gap Groupon, bought crap I didn't need at Cost Plus, including my new favorite mug (picture of Einstein with an "I love coffee" mug with "Coffee makes me smart" printed on the handle), reminded myself I didn't need to go to Old Navy too, and gone to TJs.

Now I am going to rest a bit and eat lunch, then clean some more before JZ gets here at 3:30 to look at the box of nail polish.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

I was making an unhappy face as I was slicing up some fennel because the licorice smell was quite pungent, and I don't like me some licorice. Mixed with the rest of the salad, however, the licorice taste is much more muted, so go team trying new things.
