Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Hey ita (and other Nimoy fans) - poking my head in to post this: [link]

This is an old episode of M-Squad, a cop show set in Chicago. This was filmed in 1959, and features a young Leonard Nimoy as an arsonist.

My life is much more exciting in text.

Calli, how cool! When I lived above (almost literally) Holloman AFB, part of the regular routes took them just below the ridgeline (which we were on the edge of) and so sometimes you'd find yourself awfully close to a very fast and large jet, looking INTO the cockpit from above. And some of those were the F117 stealths. Those were creepy suckers.

Touch and go routines were always fun to watch. Though slightly scary when you were on the highway that ran right under the flight path.

I decided to clean my kitchen as well. Buys me some more time tomorrow.

I really need to get upstairs organized. Basically, I need something to be a bathroom pantry. I should put shelves up in the half closet in the litterbox room. But in the meantime, may hit up IKEA tomorrow.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

Shrift, I have a cordless that you are welcome to borrow.

Art Crawl!!!

Sigh. Just ordered supper. It sounds chaotic at the place but I really want carne asada. I hope that they get whatever the issue is straightened out.

Spent day on FB and listening/watching horse races on hrtv.com

There was horse named Kerfuffle in one of the races. That would have been a hunch bet had I been at the track and I would swear that there was a horse named Natter. . .something in another race.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

And some of those were the F117 stealths.

Nifty! They didn't have any of those at the museums.

Calli, how cool!

It really was. Although, I'd have been willing to go to a black and white photo retrospective of famous rutabagas if it meant three hours of flying time.

So Mister Kitty likes being aggressively vacuumed.

I've got the soundtrack for M-Squad. Pretty cool show starring the young Lee Marvin.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Produce handled, black bean-corn salad chilling, peach-sugar plum crisp cooling.

Edit: Also, I keep meaning to turn off "Made of Honor" on the tv, but...I don't really want to.

Nice!

I know its more work, but it sure sounds like everybody's eating better with their CSAs.

I took Emmett and Matilda with me downtown. We spent a Groupon at Gap to get school clothes for Emmett. Then we wandered over to the Metreon (or what's left of it - it used to have so much cool stuff!) where we ran around the playground at Yerba Buena Center (it has a spectacular fun, fast slide), played video games, took a lunch break, then more video games (as well as the Hurricane Simulator where we all crowded into a booth and were buffeted by high winds for two dollars) then back home. Matilda conked out on the way.

Now a brief respite before megan walker gets here and we go to the neighborhood Game Night.
