Nice CSA haul today. Lettuce, kohlrabi, carrots, baby potatoes, summer squash, beats, green beans, and broccoli. I was hoping for some sweet corn, but am happy with what I have. I'm boiling the beats now so I can eat them whenever. They are taking forever to be fork tender.

Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, pandas, duct tape, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.
Not weird, ita. Friday night is Go Out And Do Things with Not Work People Night, I would think. So whatever you're actually doing, people can certainly imagine that.
sarameg, is geriatric dog a hound of some sort? They do the leaning, I don't know why. I find it so endearing, though sometimes inconvenient.
I kind of love leaning dogs.
He's a 14 year old black lab, deaf, with severe hip dysplasia and really atrocious breathe. Which is why it surprises me I like him so much, because he's like the doggiest of dog traits (oh, and he smells SO DOGGY, which is a smell I really don't like) and I'm not a dog person.
My dog leans. I love it.
My brother's Weimeraner (I'm too tired to look up spelling) likes to come and tuck his head, nose down, basically in your crotch. That took some getting used to.
amyth, so many vibes for your brother, and for you, plus more beer! And Tom Hardy, if it helps.
My friend calls it "the greyhound lean", maybe it's more widespread than I thought, breedwise. It's sweet, in any case.
Oh yeah! It's totally greyhounds I know it from. Good one.
I feel bad for not liking dogs more, I basically like them as much as other animals (which some would say is above and beyond,) but my heart belongs to cats. But they seem to require so much energy and attention, it seems exhausting (yes, I am laughing at myself, what with my schedule dictated by MK's shot schedule and the cleaning of fur and litter and the bitey needy blind clawing Loki....)
So will someone remind me when Luther is going to be on BBCA in October? And also remind me to check if I get BBCA? Ta.
