Medical question for the hive mind. Are bronchial spasms the same as having bronchitis?
FCM Tom Hardy, Misha Collins, that Dude from dollhouse you like.
Uh, F you?
I wish the interviews I'd seen with Tom Hardy hadn't actually been entertaining, so I could write him off more readily. But, still, I'm going to C him, because I'm deep like that, F Enver, M Misha. Misha!

Spasms are the mechanical (physical) *action*, which can be a reaction to an allergen or an infection. (Or possibly other shit.)
Bronchitis is an infection, which often causes bronchial spasms.
But (for instance) asthma can induce bronchial spasms, and that doesn't involve an infection.
t edit So, to sum up, the 2 often go together, but spasms don't necessarily mean there is an infection. (Also, you could have bronchitis but not have spasms.) Venn diagram!
Teppy, I think we need a Venn diagram for this....
eta: Whoops, missed part of your edit!
Dude, read my edit.
Gotcha. Thanks Steph. My asthma is acting nice at the moment and he prescribed anti-biotics.
I'm about ready to leave the office, take a nap, and work from home the rest of the day. Last couple of weeks of go-go-go have caught up with me.
