Medical question for the hive mind. Are bronchial spasms the same as having bronchitis?
Spasms are the mechanical (physical) *action*, which can be a reaction to an allergen or an infection. (Or possibly other shit.)
Bronchitis is an infection, which often causes bronchial spasms.
But (for instance) asthma can induce bronchial spasms, and that doesn't involve an infection.

So, to sum up, the 2 often go together, but spasms don't necessarily mean there is an infection. (Also, you could have bronchitis but not have spasms.) Venn diagram!
Teppy, I think we need a Venn diagram for this....

Gotcha. Thanks Steph. My asthma is acting nice at the moment and he prescribed anti-biotics.
I'm about ready to leave the office, take a nap, and work from home the rest of the day. Last couple of weeks of go-go-go have caught up with me.
I'm with Dana on this one.

C Tom Hardy (not that I'd turn him down if propositioned, but he's been pretty upfront about having taken guys for a test drive and decided against stick)
