Also dumb? A commenter on a friend's FB post about the woman who tried to put a cat in a trash can getting death threats. I sympathize with the sentiment, but it's pretty contradictory to chastise this woman for not understanding that the cat is a living creature capable of feeling and then suggest for the lack of that understanding the woman deserves to die.
