That's not too surprising. There's so little demand for goat meat in this country that farmers are always looking for ways to get rid of surplus male kids.

I've never lived anywhere you can can goat. If they were selling it in NYC grocery stores in the late '80s, I missed it.

My neighborhood is heavily Trinidadian, so you can get goat pretty much everywhere.
