One of the jokes nominated for Worst: "Why did the chicken commit suicide? To get to the other side."
Have a new potential buyer for the bed. Hopefully coming this afternoon after school.
ok, I am watching morning tv for the first time in a long time. The commercials are awful. I just saw a Tide commercial with the narrative being a mom lying to her teenage daughter. REALLY? There was another one too that made me all bwa??! but now I can't remember it. I think it was a spouse lying to the other.
MS WORD HELP PLEASE?
OK, I'm in Word 2003 (I've been using 2007 for the last couple years) and I formatted a letter for letterhead making the top margin smaller - I changed it from 1" to .4". OK, fine. Now whenever I open a new document, it is at the very tip top of the page (even closer than the .4").
I've clicked the default button in the page setup box, I've closed Word and started it back up again, I've checked to see if I'm in Normal View v. Print Layout View, I've tried entering new margins manually, I've tried changing the header, and nothing is working! It says in Page Setup that the margin is 1" but it clearly is not.
Any advice? I am not used to Word being able to stump me like this, I'm usually pretty adept with it...
There's some view or other that doesn't include the margins. Is there a black line between pages? If you click on it it should expand.
Could it be the view? Not showing the margins.
No, I don't think so. I've checked all the views.

Can I just say that it seems like people wear lots of white clothes down here.

I feel your pain. The TVs are on here *ALL FUCKING DAY* and the commercials are by far the worst part. Mainly because they're always just a little bit louder than the actual programming and so harder to ignore.
Nora, that only happens to me in Print Layout View. Does it look right in Print Preview?
