I had a whole section about civic pride.

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

I adore Tom Hardy and didn't know he was in Inception. I almost bounced out of my seat when I saw him on screen. He first caught my eye in Star Trek Nemesis [link]

Then later in Wuthering Heights. [link]

I think my cat hit a button for reals.

whoot! looks like I've got buyers on 2 of my craigslist items. Good times. That should bring in enough to pay netflix and internet for a month. So not a huge feat, but something almost always better than nothing.

more searching for the medical bills today so I can submit insurance claims

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

I saw him in person, nearly naked, on a daily basis for a couple of weeks earlier this year and I wasn't feeling the oost at all.

The words are English...

Idk, I'm catching up on his back catalog, and I think he's rather talented and dead sexy. He's also sort of fascinating, having come through addiction and seems to contain unlikely multitudes, such as pondering gender roles in netspeak.

Thanks y'all!

Coding and Sleeping

A quote from Leif just a bit earlier today.

"And when I get my medical degree, my idea will make me the most famous person in the history of the Earth."

Someday some woman will probably have to deal with that ego.

70 - 12 inch square concrete pavers - GONE from my backyard. YAY!

And while the guy was loading them, I moved a pile of bricks out of my garage and assembled on of my shelving units for out there. That allowed me to finish unpacking another box in the garage. Now I am a sweaty mess, and trying to cool off before the lady gets here to look at the bed.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Yay for craigslist. I am constantly trolling craigslit for my kayak, despite the fact that I won't be able to actually buy it for a couple more weeks after I get my rack and save back the money I'm spending on nail polish.

Nail polish. I have nail polish color issues. The issue is that I am buying a collection that is almost completely the wrong season colors for me, but I can't help it because I have mostly clothing that is the wrong color for me. It's the lifestyle thing, a little. Most technical, outdoorsy clothing is in autumn outdoorsy colors. So I have lots of khaki and browns and greens. But I should be wearing primary colors! And black, which, okay, probably a good 70 percent of my wardrobe is black, so I can wear whatever polish I want with that, most likely.

Back when I was doing the "add color to my wardrobe" thing, I intended to add red, but it never really happened. I think I want to go back to that and add red and maybe primary blue. Those colors look good on me and would work with plain blacks and whites.

I wish I could just go somewhere to get flensed but none of the whaling ships near me take Medicare.

I'm glad your dad is okay, aurelia.

Slept in late here to try to give my hands a rest and recovery. Of course, I'd need to sleep for a week to do any good.
