Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

That was the movie, right?

It was also referred to in the pilot, I think.

???

Yeah, the whole Arizona thing probably doesn't matter to them, I guess. Never mind, oh, any of the other immigration-related foofurrah.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

I'm trying to think of kid shows that have respectful kids.

Dinosaur Train! But that's aimed at a much younger demographic. Tween shows pretty much have to have clueless parents and kids getting away with shit, I think.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

OTOH, it makes me appreciate The Mighty B! more since it's a show that features girls who aren't interested in boys, are driven by accomplishing new things, have smart likable adult characters (who aren't boring and generic) and is still very funny. Go Amy Poehler!

I gotta watch that. Chatty!co-worker keeps talking it up. Plus it has Mod Wolves!

They continue to be full of crap.

Yeah, I don't get these:

Nirvana is on the classic oldies station.

Uh, no they aren't. I mean, date-wise, they COULD be, but no, they aren't.

A purple dinosaur has always supplanted Barney Google and Barney Fife.

1. Who the hell is Barney Google?

2. I think college freshman are more likely to associate the name with Barney from the Simpsons.

Bud Selig has always been the Commissioner of Major League Baseball.

Barney Google and Snuffy Smith, originally Barney Google, is a long-running American comic strip, created June 17, 1919 by Billy DeBeck

Punishingly Intricate

The Mod wolves are from the Mighty Boosh which is not a kids show. Also doesn't really have any smart adults...it is pretty awesome though!

Wait, "Mighty B" isn't just hip slang for "Mighty Boosh?"

Why would there be 2 shows with such similar names? Silly teeveeland.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Oh, I thought he meant Mighty Boosh too and was confused about what Amy Poehler had to do with it. Apparently it is a show.
