I don't give a good gorram about relevant, Wash. Or objective. And I ain't so afraid of losing something that I ain't gonna try to have it. You and I would make one beautiful baby. And I want to meet that child one day. Period.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

I'd love to give them a try! And if they fit, I'll pay full price plus shipping. What's your normal size?

Toss me your postal addy and I'll send them off to you tomorrow! My normal size is 10.5, which usually means I'm wearing either a 10 or an 11, depending on the shoe. Why more shoemakers don't make 10.5, I don't get it. I think the peacock shoes are more like a normal size 9.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Insent, Zenkitty!

smonster, that's a Vogue Knits thing so the pattern should be in the magazine. It's all intarsia, but I bet you could get someone to make it for you.

No, I don't think I will - me, quoting Captain Steve Rogers, to all of 2020

So, wait...if your co-worker, who likes sci-fi but doesn't call any particular fandom his own counts as "medium"...what's a small?

"I've heard of a phaser and didn't puke"?

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

It's not like crime stuff, where I assume I will like it all...

Okay, but you're a crime freak. Let's not understate that.

I just think the whole fandom thing counts for a whole lot.

I apologise to everyone--I'm the person with the stinky lunch at her desk. I'm also the idiot drinking OJ when she knows it will give her a stomach ache. But I miss it.

It's not that he doesn't call a fandom his own--it's that he isn't in fandom. He's just a fan, but has no community. But he likes sci fi as a genre, and seeks entertainment out on that basis. But he doesn't strike relationships up because of it.

Small? I'd say likes a little, incidentally.

You're tainted by fandom, lady, own it.

So, Gracie has started giggling aloud. It's a breathy little chortle. You can hear and see it here: [link] The first noise is her laughing and then she laughs again after she leaves P, the nurse, and has almost reached me.
