Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Marg actually makes more than Lawrence Fishburne.

I'm sure she was making much less than Grissom!Whatsisname, but since they pretty much brought in Fishburne to replace him I'm kinda surprised. But then I don't want to think of a potential race card, because that's depressing.

Shemar was B-list, I think. Wasn't his gig previous Birds of Prey? Thomas Gibson had Dharma and Greg behind him, so I think it might have been a big switch, but he'd gotten a lot of press for that.

And I say that with much love for Shemar. But I thought of him as culty/soapy/music TV. And Thomas as prime time network TV.

I do wonder if the Vampire Diaries kids make more than the Supernatural kids. Hmmph.

NOT MY BUSINESS.

Except for justice's sake.

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

I suppose that Shemar was better known for his body than his acting (Y&R years aside)

Always Anti-fascist!

Yeah, I used to watch it...the characters were kind of stock, but the acting was decent. Also, "Dharma Finkelstein" is funny. Yeah...soap hottie. I don't know why one ends up Big Shit and another doesn't.

"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

I'm joining msbelle in crying into my bank statement.

Have you all seen the hobbit house in wales? I cannot imagine building that with a toddler and a baby. Or living there at all.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Health-ma to your brother, amyth

I think the fact that Ian S. is on the list probably means he does, at least.

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

I found it funny on Criminal Minds when Reid walked in on Morgan and Rossi watching a soap opera in his hotel room. When he said they were watching "Days of Our Lives," they immediately corrected him--it was Y&R. Nice shoutout to Shemar's previous workplace!

That list only had two NCIS actors on it. Mark Harmon obviously makes the most, being the Name Actor and now producer, and Michael Weatherly just got his raise this summer, which makes me wonder what the rest of the cast is making. I hope that David McCallum gets a decent amount, since he's the "and" at the end of the cast listing and is as big a Name Actor as Harmon, IMO, but doesn't have the screen time Harmon does on the show.

Punishingly Intricate

Callaluna, just wanted to say I'm so sorry you're struggling to be happy right now. It can be really, really rough to move somewhere new, especially as big a move as this was for you, and it is a huge bummer that you can't go home like you'd planned.

This. Also, what town are you in? I have a Belgian friend who owns a flower store there and, in my dream, you are in the same town and you can go visit him there and be cheered by his hilarity and beautiful flowers.

I wish I could just go somewhere to get flensed but none of the whaling ships near me take Medicare.

I love that hobbit house and could totally imagine myself living there. Except it'd need more windows because I get SADS.

I was figuring they left out a huge number of shows, so maybe not. Because Ian? Really? Nice iliac crest, but seriously. Is VD really the biggest show on CW?

Right, yes. Quite probably.

I hope that David McCallum gets a decent amount, since he's the "and" at the end of the cast listing

That actually functions in lieu of money--it's additional recognition, not an indication of remuneration. It's something else to bargain for.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Going by last year's list, they're totally cherry-picked. Ellen Pompeo does make more than Patrick Dempsey--I am surprised. And Tom Welling makes much much more than Ian Somerhalder, but isn't on this year's list.
